Würth IT GmbH has been carrying out security checks for several years now. As part of these checks, the information security in the respective companies was tested for conformity with best practices and internationally recognized standards. Based on this, ccSec has independent auditors, technical experts, auditors, auditors with industry knowledge and a steering committee.

In order to provide proof that this service is subject to consistent quality that remains at a high level in the long term, a certification body was founded within the Würth Group, which in 2001 was one of the first companies in Germany to be accredited in accordance with EN45012/BS7799 (new: ISO 27001) by the German Accreditation Council (now DAkkS German Accreditation Body).

This accreditation enables us to certify information security management systems according to ISO/IEC 27001 (similar to a quality management system according to ISO 9000) worldwide and to certify them with an accredited certificate. In addition, we are accredited by the German Accreditation Body (DAkkS) as a conformity assessment body for information security management systems of gas and electricity network operators in accordance with the IT security catalog pursuant to Section 11 (1a) of the Energy Industry Act on the basis of the conformity assessment program of the Federal Network Agency of 12.01.2023.
